Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 20, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Vluxon Inc. collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information in connection with vluxon.com and our hosting, infrastructure, control panel, network, billing, and support services. It also applies to services formerly offered under the Valkyrie Hosting brand. Vluxon Inc. is the controller of personal information collected for these purposes unless another notice states otherwise.

This policy does not govern independent third party websites, platforms, applications, or services linked from or integrated with the Services. Their own privacy notices apply when information is provided directly to them.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and administer the Services. Information may be obtained directly from you or an authorized user, automatically from your device and use of the Services, from payment and operational providers, or from lawful fraud prevention, security, and public sources.

  • Account and contact details, including name, email, username, billing address, and authentication information
  • Order, invoice, payment status, refund, and transaction information
  • IP address, device, browser, login, traffic, service usage, and security records
  • Service configurations, control panel activity, support communications, and information you submit to our systems
  • Cookie, session, referral, preference, analytics, and consent information where applicable

3. How We Use Information

We process personal information to perform our contract, comply with law, pursue legitimate business and security interests, establish or defend legal claims, and obtain consent where required. We may create aggregated or deidentified information that cannot reasonably identify an individual and use it for analytics, capacity planning, security, and service improvement.

  • Provide accounts, services, billing, renewals, support, and operational communications
  • Authenticate access, monitor reliability, and protect systems against fraud, abuse, and attacks
  • Maintain business, tax, accounting, dispute, and compliance records
  • Improve the website and Services using appropriate privacy controls
  • Send product information or marketing where permitted, subject to your communication choices

4. Payments, Cookies, and Communication Choices

Payment providers available during checkout process payment information under their own privacy notices. Vluxon receives the transaction and billing details needed to administer an order but does not store complete payment card numbers or security codes.

We use essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, sessions, and core site functions. Analytics or other nonessential technologies are subject to consent where required. Available choices may be managed through browser or consent controls, although blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Services from functioning.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails through the link in the message or contact us for assistance. Opting out of marketing does not stop invoices, security alerts, policy notices, or other communications necessary to administer the Services.

5. Disclosure of Information

Vluxon does not sell or rent personal information. Information may be disclosed to vetted providers that support payments, fraud prevention, communications, customer support, analytics, datacenters, networking, DDoS protection, software, and professional services.

We may also disclose information at your direction, in connection with a corporate transaction, to protect rights or systems, or where required by valid legal process. Disclosures are limited to what is reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.

6. Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information for the period reasonably necessary to provide the Services and meet security, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, dispute, and legal obligations. Retention depends on the information, service lifecycle, sensitivity, risk, and applicable law. We may retain aggregated or deidentified records where they can no longer reasonably identify an individual.

Service data may be deleted after cancellation, termination, or nonpayment under our Terms. Restricted backup copies may remain until normal rotation, and information subject to a legal hold may be retained longer.

7. Security and International Transfers

We maintain safeguards appropriate to the Services, including encrypted transport, access controls, authentication protections, logging, monitoring, and restricted personnel access. No internet or storage system is completely secure. If a personal data breach requires notice under applicable law, we will notify affected individuals and regulators within the legally required period.

Information may be processed in countries where Vluxon or its providers operate. Where required, international transfers use an approved legal mechanism or other appropriate safeguard.

8. UK GDPR and EU GDPR Rights

Where UK or European data protection law applies, you may exercise the following rights subject to legal conditions and exceptions:

  • Access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability
  • Withdrawal of consent where processing depends on consent
  • Human review of qualifying solely automated decisions
  • A complaint to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your EEA supervisory authority

9. California Privacy Notice

Where the CCPA/CPRA applies, the categories collected during the preceding 12 months are those described in Section 2. We obtain them from you, your use of the Services, authorized users, operational providers, and lawful public or security sources. Sections 3, 5, and 6 describe their purposes, disclosures, and retention.

Vluxon does not sell personal information, share it for behavioural advertising across different services, use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics, or offer financial incentives for personal information.

  • California residents may request access, correction, or deletion and may use an authorized agent
  • Applicable opt out and limitation requests will be honoured if our practices change
  • Vluxon will not discriminate against anyone for exercising an applicable privacy right

10. US State, Canadian, and Other Privacy Rights

Privacy laws in other US states and jurisdictions may provide rights to confirm processing, access, correct, delete, restrict, object, appeal, or obtain a portable copy of personal information. Canadian residents may exercise applicable access and correction rights under PIPEDA and substantially similar provincial law. We apply the rights and exceptions in force for your jurisdiction after reasonable verification.

Vluxon does not use personal information for targeted advertising or qualifying profiling. Where Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or another applicable law requires consent before processing defined sensitive data, Vluxon will obtain that consent or will not perform the processing.

11. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Where a higher minimum digital age applies, that requirement must also be met. A minor who cannot independently consent or enter a binding agreement may use the Services only through an account established and supervised by a parent or legal guardian. Contact us if you believe information was provided contrary to this section, and we will take appropriate deletion steps.

12. Privacy Requests and Contact

To exercise a privacy right, identify the right requested and provide enough information for us to verify your identity, account, residence, or authority. Verification information is used only to process and document the request. Legal exceptions may apply.

Questions, complaints, and privacy requests may be sent to:

[email protected]

13. Policy Updates

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law, operations, providers, or Services. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will receive reasonable notice where appropriate and apply from their stated effective date.
