Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: September 20, 2026
1. Scope and Responsibility
This Acceptable Use Policy governs all services provided by Vluxon Inc., including game hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, network access, storage, control panels, and related features. It forms part of the Vluxon Terms of Service.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account, your content, and the conduct of authorized users. You must ensure that anyone using your Services complies with this policy and applicable third party terms. Vluxon does not routinely review private service content, but may investigate activity brought to our attention or identified through security, abuse, or resource monitoring.
2. Unlawful, Harmful, and Deceptive Use
You may not use the Services to violate applicable law, facilitate unlawful conduct, infringe another person's rights, or create a credible risk of harm. Prohibited use includes:
- Fraud, theft, unlawful threats, stalking, harassment, bullying, or invasion of privacy
- Content or activity that violates child safety laws or unlawfully exploits or endangers a minor
- Promotion or coordination of violent extremism, unlawful violence, or discriminatory abuse
- Content intended to encourage self harm, suicide, or imminently dangerous conduct
- Phishing, social engineering, deceptive impersonation, credential theft, or collection of personal data without lawful authority
- Knowingly false or manipulated claims intended to defraud, endanger, or cause material harm
- Impersonation of Vluxon personnel or unauthorized use of Vluxon branding
3. Network, Software, and Communications Abuse
You may not disrupt, probe, compromise, overburden, or obtain unauthorized access to any system, account, network, or data. Legitimate security tools may be used only against systems you own or are expressly authorized to test and must not affect Vluxon or third party infrastructure.
- Denial of service attacks, booter or stresser services, botnets, command and control systems, or attack for hire services
- Unauthorized port scanning, interception, spoofing, brute force activity, credential attacks, exploitation, or penetration testing
- Malware, ransomware, spyware, backdoors, exploit kits, cryptojacking code, droppers, or other harmful software
- Phishing pages, stolen data services, key generators, licence circumvention tools, or unauthorized access tools
- Unsolicited bulk messaging, mail bombing, deceptive headers, address harvesting, open relays, or services primarily supporting spam
- Unauthorized bots, automated scraping, abusive crawlers, or automation that violates third party terms or materially burdens a service
- Activity that disables, degrades, or interferes with Vluxon infrastructure, upstream networks, or another customer
4. Game, VPS, and Dedicated Services
Game services must comply with the relevant publisher's end user licence agreement, commercial and monetization rules, modding requirements, and platform terms. You may not distribute cracked clients or game files, use pirated modpacks or paid plugins without permission, bypass licensing protections, or operate monetization that violates publisher rules. You remain responsible for mods, plugins, custom files, and user activity on your server.
VPS and dedicated servers are customer managed unless the order expressly states otherwise. You must maintain supported software, security updates, strong nondefault credentials, appropriate access controls, and firewall protections. You may not ignore a compromise, repeated abuse complaint, or known vulnerability that places Vluxon, another customer, or a third party at risk.
5. Content, Licensing, and Intellectual Property
You must hold all rights, licences, and permissions required for content and software used through the Services. Pirated media, cracked software, counterfeit goods, unlawful file sharing, unauthorized copies of licensed content, and material that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, or other proprietary rights are prohibited.
A rights holder may submit a complete infringement notice to the contact address below. We may preserve evidence, remove or restrict disputed material, and suspend or terminate repeat infringers where appropriate or required by law.
6. Restricted Workloads and Fair Use
CPU, RAM, storage, disk activity, bandwidth, IP addresses, and other resources must be used for the intended service and within published limits or fair use terms. Occasional resource spikes may be expected, but sustained abnormal use, runaway processes, memory leaks, or activity that threatens stability or materially affects other services may be throttled, limited, migrated, suspended, or require an upgrade.
Unlimited or unmetered resources remain subject to fair use. Unlimited game server storage is limited to files reasonably required to operate the associated game server and may not be used as personal cloud storage, a general backup repository, public download mirror, content delivery network, or unrelated file hosting.
The following workloads are prohibited unless Vluxon gives prior written approval where an exception is legally available:
- Cryptocurrency mining or cryptojacking using CPU, GPU, ASIC, or other resources
- Open proxies, Tor exit nodes, public or commercial VPN services, anonymizers, or uncontrolled traffic tunnels
- Mass mailing systems without consent and appropriate legal, authentication, rate, and unsubscribe controls
- Piracy repositories, unlawful torrent services, stolen data markets, fraudulent storefronts, or unauthorized file distribution
- Workloads designed primarily to consume excessive resources, evade restrictions, mask prohibited activity, or bypass service controls
7. Security, Investigation, and Enforcement
You must secure credentials, monitor authorized users, maintain systems under your control, notify Vluxon promptly of a compromise, cooperate with reasonable investigations, and complete requested corrective action within the stated time.
The examples in this policy are not exhaustive. Activity that Vluxon reasonably believes is unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, materially disruptive, or intended to circumvent this policy may be treated as a violation. Depending on severity and risk, we may warn, request remediation, block a feature, restrict or throttle traffic, remove content, isolate a system, suspend a service, or terminate a service or account.
Immediate action may be taken to stop continuing harm, protect users or infrastructure, preserve evidence, or comply with law. Material violations are not eligible for refund. Vluxon may preserve or disclose relevant information and report conduct where required by valid legal process or applicable law.
8. Reports, Changes, and Contact
Abuse reports should identify the affected service, IP address or URL, relevant dates and times, the nature of the issue, and available evidence such as logs or screenshots. False or malicious reports are prohibited.
We may update this policy to reflect legal, security, operational, or service changes. The date above identifies the current version, and material changes will receive reasonable notice where appropriate.
