Overview Tab Features

The Overview tab provides essential server management tools and real-time monitoring capabilities for your virtual private server.

Server Name and Hostname Configuration

To modify your server name or hostname:

  1. Click the settings wheel located below the "Overview" tab
  2. Enter your desired server name and hostname
  3. Click "Save" to apply changes

Note: If no hostname was specified during initial server deployment, you can configure it using this method.

Server Statistics Monitoring

Memory and CPU Usage

The statistics section displays real-time resource utilization data:

Metric Type Description
Memory (RAM) Current active RAM usage percentage
CPU Usage Current processor utilization percentage

Access detailed graphs by clicking the Statistics dropdown button to view:

  • Memory usage trends over time
  • CPU performance metrics

Network Traffic Analytics

Monthly traffic statistics provide comprehensive bandwidth monitoring:

Traffic Metric Details
Inbound Traffic Data received by server
Outbound Traffic Data sent from server
Total Traffic Combined inbound/outbound usage
Allowance Monthly bandwidth allocation (unlimited)
Speed Current connection speed

Server Information Display

Technical specifications and deployment details include:

  • Creation date and time
  • System identification number
  • Primary IP address assignment
  • Boot loader configuration
  • RAM specifications
  • Physical server location

Power Management Controls

Available server power operations:

Action Function
Shutdown Graceful operating system shutdown
Power Off Force immediate power termination
Restart System reboot cycle
Rebuild Complete server reinstallation

Server Protection Feature

Enable server protection to prevent accidental rebuilds:

  1. Click the padlock icon below the "Overview" tab
  2. Select "Protect" when prompted
  3. Confirm protection activation

This feature prevents unintentional execution of destructive operations like server rebuilds.
